Susan began her career as a photographer contributing to The New York Daily News on assignments where she quickly stood out as a street shooter with an artistic angle. She developed her unique style working as a photojournalist over the next 25 years. Her photos appear in magazines, newswires and on the web worldwide in publications as varied as The New York Times, Rolling Stone, Newsday and Newsweek. Her excellent technical skills and warm, approachable personality make her an excellent portrait photographer. Many executives from diverse industries have taken advantage of her skills. We have also worked with Susan over the years on several projects, including those that involve portrait photography for C-suite executives. We—and our clients—have never been disappointed.
Maryellen Lazzaro is pleased to add Yes She Can, Inc. to the client roster. Maryellen has created a favicon for the organization’s website.
Insight: Favicons are images that are used by web browsers to show a graphical representation of the site being visited. They are used in the address bar, in the links bar, in the bookmarking area and in browsing tabs. Some browsers also show favicons whenever you create a shortcut link for the corresponding website in your desktop and your mobile device.
In this case, the client did not have an obvious element in their logo to adapt for a favicon. Maryellen instead used a white checkmark within a pink square suggesting the organization’s mission, which is empowering young women with autism to advance within the workplace.
Maryellen will also be developing infographics for Yes She Can, Inc.

Maryellen Lazzaro was delighted to create this print ad for the Past Presidents of Healthcare Leaders of New York (HLNY) congratulating honoree Susan Fox, President of White Plains Hospital. The ad was placed in the journal for HLNY’s annual gala, held earlier this summer. We were also equally delighted to attend this year. What a lovely event it was! HLNY is the leading organization in the New York Metropolitan area representing professionals who manage the business affairs of healthcare organizations. Check them out if you are an administrator. They have excellent programs for networking, career advancement, professional enrichment and continuing education.

Are you familiar with Splashes of Hope? It’s a nonprofit foundation dedicated to transforming environments, and enriching and facilitating healing through artwork. Their team of mural artists has created projects for social service agencies and medical facilities around the globe with a special emphasis in New York State.
Recently one of our clients got splashed with a donation of several beautiful customized murals for their community mental heath center. The murals were painted by Splashes of Hope, which also created murals for New York Hospital Weill Cornell Medical Center, New York Tyree Learning Center of Sea Cliff and Mount Sinai Beth Israel, to name a few.
