Lazzaro Designs is pleased to announce that the fall issue of Keeping Brooklyn Healthy, The Brooklyn Hospital Center’s biannual community newsletter, has been published. In this issue, articles included are you at risk for heart disease, how TBHC cares for Brooklyn’s law enforcement officers, a wonderful weight loss surgery success story, facts about the flu shot, and much more.
The Brooklyn Hospital Center (TBHC) is a corporate sponsor of the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM). This sponsorship includes, in part, TBHC’s frequent presence at pre- and post-BAM events to promote their physicians and service lines to BAM patrons. In addition to having brochures and physician information postcards as giveaways, which Maryellen also designed, TBHC enlisted her assistance to create the art to appear on a canvas tote bag giveaway.
She found a charming stock color illustration of Brooklyn brownstones and simplified the art so it can be silk-screened in a black imprint onto the bag. BAM patrons loved the tote bag and used it right then and there to house TBHC brochures and postcards. As per TBHC’s Sr. Marketing Director, “We’ve seen Downtown Brooklynites on the street using our tote bags and we know they obtained them from a BAM event. The bag with its adorable nod to Brooklyn brownstones has been a big hit and plans are underway to print more!”
Lazzaro Designs recently prepared a roster booklet for Mount Sinai’s Department of Surgery. The referral booklet was categorized by specialty and provides key information on their faculty surgeons. The spiral-bound brochure features specialty tabs for easy reference and fits comfortably in a lab coat pocket.
