Keeping it fresh!

Here’s a recent issue of Keeping Brooklyn Healthy, The Brooklyn Hospital Center’s community newsletter. It was an ideal time to tweak the look so it coincided with the newsletter’s expansion to eight pages and the decision to produce it quarterly vs. biannually. In this issue, articles included an update on the construction of TBHC’s physician pavilion, how TBHC provides excellent GI, obstetric and pediatric care, a photo essay highlighting the many community events TBHC has recently hosted, and much more.

Physician Onboarding Folder

Shown is a folder Lazzaro Designs recently prepared for The Brooklyn Hospital Center. The folder houses loose material provided to onboarding physicians such as administrative welcome letters, key contact information, 2017 hospital statistics and quality awards, among other items. The design echoes city blocks…appropriate for its Downtown Brooklyn location.

Marketing Health Awareness Observances

The Brooklyn Hospital Center takes advantage of marketing health awareness observances each month via posters situated in the lobby of its main campus and within its cafeteria. Shown here are posters Lazzaro Designs recently produced for upcoming awareness observances. When appropriate, tables are set up with hospital staff providing information on the highlighted healthcare topic.

Tip: The US Department of Health and Human Services has designated a number of national health observances, more than one for every single month! Check out this site for a current complete calendar and lots of inspiration for communication efforts.

Tailored Signage

A variety of projects come over the transom as part of Lazzaro Designs’ retainer with The Brooklyn Hospital Center. Brochures and pamphlets. Newsletters. Signage. Postcards. Posters. E-blasts. Social Media. The look and feel of the hospital’s patient portal. Each piece is tailored to fit its unique need while also reinforcing the hospital’s brand. Shown is a 18″ x 36″ hallway sign for the hospital’s adolescent center. The sign features diverse faces reflecting its population.
